New Faces at Landerholm Law!

It’s been a busy year here at Landerholm Family Law. Since 2015 is nearly over, we thought that this would be a good time to introduce the seven new employees who have joined us in the past year. Big things are happening around here, and we couldn’t be more excited to have the additional help.

Jack DekovichJack Dekovich
From a very early age, Jack knew that he wanted to be a helping professional – so much so that he almost joined the Jesuit seminary after high school. Practicing law gives him the opportunity to help those in our community. He finds that compassion, understanding, and humor are just as important as knowledge in his profession. As a solo practitioner, he was often so bogged down with the administrative side of things that he was missing out on the human connection. His position as an Associate Attorney at Landerholm Family Law gives him the opportunity to serve his clients and to grow as a team with his colleagues. In his precious free time, Jack can be spotted at several local bars playing music with his band “The Four Hot Kings” or playing ice hockey.

Will JonesWill Jones
Will, the head of our legal department, recently married a lovely gal named Gail. Though he originally hails from Milwaukie, Oregon, Will has journeyed through Arkansas and Denver, obtaining degrees and certifications that make him the top-notch attorney that he is today. When he’s not attending pre-trials, Will enjoys puttering about the office in his running shoes and drinking IPAs while watching the Seahawks win.

Lisa MillsLisa Mills
Lisa is a graduate of West Linn High School, where she was able to complete her degree in just 3 years. Afterward, she studied at Portland Community College, where she received her Certificate in Paralegal Studies and Associates of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies. She has been with her boyfriend, Zach, since May of 2005. Though they aren’t technically married, they will likely be tying the knot on their anniversary next year. They have two West Highland Terriers (Bailey and Mona) and a Ragamuffin cat (Missy). They closed on their first home just before Halloween in 2014. She is generally a homebody, but does enjoy getting together with family and friends for dinner and movie nights.

Veronica CarranzaVeronica Carranza
Veronica, who handles Client Services, grew up all around the Pacific Northwest. Her favorite place to live was California because of the weather. She enjoys spending time with her three boys (Anthony, Javoni, and Angelito) and watching them play sports. In her down time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and eating spicy foods. She really likes watching cooking shows and trying new recipes when time permits.

Heather GoodlettHeather Goodlett
Heather, one of our Associate Attorneys, grew up in Alabama (Roll Tide) and came to Portland and Landerholm Family Law after a judicial clerkship in Las Vegas, Nevada. In her free time, she enjoys reading, knitting, pretending that watching Chopped is the same as knowing how to cook, and unsuccessfully teaching her cat, Major Tom Whiskers, that people like to sleep past 6:30 on weekends.
