If you were to ask Triston Dallas what fuels him to pursue his career with the enthusiasm and gusto that is apparent in his day-to-day interactions, he would say it’s the desire to serve his community- a cause and personal calling that he strives to fulfill every day.
Born in Los Angeles and raised in Vancouver, Washington, Triston ventured across the nation to Washington D.C. after graduating from high school to begin his journey towards becoming an attorney. Of the countless professions in the world, Triston says that he was called to the legal field because of its diversity and relevance to so many challenges that people find themselves facing at one point or another in life. Triston views the attorney profession as a vehicle that can lead to great positivity and growth in people’s lives, and is a means for Triston to stay connected with his community and utilize his knowledge to give back to those in need.
As the youngest of seven children and with many of his family members having immigrated to America from Jamaica, Triston understands the importance of the family unit, as well as the significance of protecting the people you love the most from unforeseen circumstances. Having experienced first-hand the pitfalls and stress that a family can fall into when a plan is not in place, Triston has learned how a couple of simple, but impactful, steps can save a family from lost time, money and heartache. Triston found himself drawn to estate planning and family law because of its unique ability to allow him to help families not only protect their assets, but discover hope through the opportunities that go hand-in-hand with proper planning. Whether it be a “typical” family unit or one with special needs, Triston believes that generational wealth is achievable for many, and takes pride in being able to help families learn how to protect their loves ones.
When he’s not working, Triston enjoys international travel, photography, golf, and spending time with the people he values most in this world- his family. Through their example of courage, perseverance and resolve, he credits them to shaping him into the man, husband, and attorney that he is today. Triston also loves to stay connected with his community through a variety of hobbies and organizations. Between coaching youth football, girl’s youth basketball, and participating as a board member of the Portland N/NE Housing strategy committee, Triston does not lack in activities that keep his schedule busy and fulfill his desire to continually invest in people.
