Attorney
  • Profile

Jennifer’s interest in law began at a young age, with shows like People’s Court, Matlock, Perry Mason, and most distinctly, Punky Brewster, molding her fascination for the justice system, and demonstrating the influence that an attorney can have on the world around them.

After graduating from Hawaii Pacific University with her Bachelor of Arts in Literature, Jennifer’s heart for children led to her pursuit of teaching. For the next seven years, Jennifer taught children around the world, most notably in South Korea, Poland, and France. When she returned to the states after working abroad, she felt called to return to grad school; it was during this time that Jennifer recalled her early memories of dreaming to one day be an attorney, and made the decision to attend law school.

Having graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2014 with her J.D., Jennifer went on to work as an Indigent Criminal Defense and Deputy Criminal Prosecutor, before becoming a Deputy Civil Prosecutor for the child support division. It was in this role that Jennifer began to learn how to navigate the complexity of family law cases, helping countless families through complex parentage establishment, child support modification and adjustment, and child support enforcement and contempt cases. Jennifer enjoys being able to use her extensive experience in family law to truly help her clients with their cases. With an innate love for children and desire to advocate for their best-interest, Jennifer is a strong proponent for families who are navigating divorce and custody cases, and who desire an attorney on their team who feels strongly about protecting the children involved, and ensuring an outcome is reached that is not only best-case scenario for the client, but for the entire family.

Originally from Southwest Washington, Jennifer was taught from a young age the power of time spent outdoors, and the value of honoring and exploring the world around her. The wonderment and love for nature that she learned as a child has stuck with her into adulthood, and has translated to a wide array of interests and hobbies that she appreciates today. When she’s not helping families through their family law matters, Jennifer enjoys spending her free time studying and practicing snake husbandry, learning about chemistry and quantum physics, and sewing, and working on craft projects. As an ordained interfaith/inclusive metaphysical minister, Jennifer enjoys the opportunity to read philosophy and religious/spiritual texts. She is active in the queer community, and has a deep appreciation for Korean culture, including Korean dramas, food, language, history and politics. She has also studied Russian, Chinese, Hawaiian, Korean, Polish, French, Arabic and Spanish, and enjoys learning to read languages that utilize texts outside of the Latin/Roman alphabet.
